Condition: the well made movement is signed on the back plate, and with serial number 865873; has solid plates and cut pinions and Graham type dead beat escapement with adjustable pallets. The dial carries a retailer's name: T. Welge, Hannover . The case has been recently made; they even got the hinges on the wrong side at first and had to move them to the other side. The outer bezel measures 5.7" and there is a 12" drop from the center shaft to center of pendulum, for those who would use the movement elsewhere. Height 35 inches [89cm]
