Condition: Heavy red brass case in very nice condition, but in need of a polishing. Silvered dial is nice with only a couple of scratches around the winding arbor and the slow/fast setting hand. The engraved numbers have lost their black filler. The movement and case are numbered 13721, which places its original manufacture in 1904. It is likely that the unit was returned to Chelsea for Warranty repair a year or so later, as there is a higher serial number [18684], that is lined out, and the current 13721 struck under it, both numbers stamped by Chelsea. .Hands are original. Height 5.5 inches [13.97 cm]
