Condition: Overall very good original condition. The case has been polished regularly and the original gold finish is absent. The base of the clock was cast out of red brass, which now gives the case a tu-tone look. (pink+yellow) The signed porcelain dial is perfect and the hands are original. This was an expensive clock in 1904, selling for $30, about the same price as a French import. For reference, see Tran Ly's 3rd edition Seth Thomas book, page 236, fig 713. Ly current price = $550. Height 11.85 inches [30cm]
