C.1832, M. and E. Blakeslee, Plymouth, Conn., 30-hour time/strike wood movement half column and splat shelf clock /short, with restoration. Condition: Refinished mahogany veneered case in good condition with a small veneer chip on the base. Splat and columns have been nicely re-stenciled. Original painted dial has some horizontal paint loss caused by expansion of the wood, but is still very colorful. Hands are original. Tablet has been redone on the original glass. Has good pineapple finials and claw feet.. Nice label inside case. Metal dust cover for the backplate of the movement is missing. A handsome clock. Height 31 inches [78.74 cm]
