Condition: movement is clean and running robustly. Has a Graham style dead beat escapement (tiny bit of rust), Harrison's ratchet maintaining power, a rear small silvered dial for setting the time, and a rear 24 hour "day and night" dial with once a day fall off cam [could have actuated a calendar]. Winding is also done at the rear (winds to left). Pendulum is a modern replacement. The 7" silvered dial is engraved by the maker and with a seconds bit indicating true seconds, and has tarnish. The late owner paid $400 for the deluxe plexi cover alone, which has mitered corners and beveled edge. Ht of plates = 9" [23cm] overall Height 17.4 inches [44cm]
