Condition: Walnut case in very good condition with original finish. The only thing that seems to be missing is an incised "fan style" corner piece on either side of the two top finials. The alligatored finish on the original paper dial was probably caused by varnishing long ago. Hands and pendulum are original. Movement is signed. This model appears in the 1889 Russell and Jones catalog, and also in Ehrhardt's book 1, pg 89. Height 38 inches [98 cm]
