Condition: White alabaster base has a couple of tiny chips on the top edge. Original ormolu mountings and putti retain some of their original gilding. Cast brass Globe with a screw on back has some loss and wear to the clear finish over the original color. Three of the applied cast stars have been replaced with plastic versions, but these are confined to the back. Case contains a round plate movement with platform lever escapement. The original platform was replaced with a period platform from a carriage clock. (neatly done). Tiffany name on globe shows some wear but is fully legible. Height 18.25 inches [46.3 cm]
