C.1885, Austrian, 3-Wt, 2nd Baroque, Grand Sonnerie Vienna Regulator, 8-day,in a walnut and veneer wall case.

Condition: the tail of the case has warped some and the stabilizer screws must be used to keep it from rocking. There are some dry splits in the top bezel and a couple of moldings. The case has been attractively refinished. The well made Viennese movement bears no signature, is complete and sound; porcelain dial is excellent. Note one weight hook is damaged and will need replacing; wire was used for foto. 3 filled holes at top of rear were for a former gong assembly. It is running and striking OK. Height 52 inches [132cm]
