Condition: walnut and oak case has been refinished, but is in otherwise good condition with a little damage on the bottom right edge of the base. Case contains a heavy plate chain drive fusee movement, with brushed plates, that is stamped with the Benson logo, and with serial No. 6901, and with the number repeated on the very heavy pendulum. Hands are original. Bezel is heavy cast brass with beveled glass. Dial was well repainted in 1975, but is about 1 degree left, since the painter failed to index the dial plate. Height 19.75 inches [50.16 cm]
