Condition: mahogany case has been refinished with heavy spar varnish and needs rubbing down; veneer chip near lock escutcheon. Original dial has horizontal spalling and paint loss. Columns and pineapple splat are deeply carved. Large door tablet is a replacement. Old lower tablet has a vertical crack. Movement complete and sound. This is a very large clock. Height 40 inches [100cm]
