Condition: overall fair condition with restorations - seconds hand is missing, dial too large from another mov't has been fit to this one, and the calendar wheel is in a jam, time arbor can only be wound with difficulty; hands later and improper. Pendulum rod is OK, the bob is for a Vienna wall clock. Orig iron weights and pulleys intact. Case refinished with spray lacquer. This clock was a Knox family heirloom, and the rear of the case was painted with the following information in 1939: 1830, A. Knox, 16 Barony St, Edinburgh, Made by Smith, Leith, St. Ter.- 1805. T. Knox Robb, 1939. The information was also written in ink on the inside of the door. Movement is dirty but complete. Height 81 inches [204cm]
