Condition: this clock has been restored, the case refinished and the movement cleaned. Chimes on 9 bells, and strikes the hours on a deep toned flat wire gong. Two subsidiary dials in the arch with small hands for controlling Chime / Silent and Tune selection. Fancy shell and scroll spandrels on the ornate dial retain their bright gilding; chapter ring is a bit oxidized. Overall very good condition. Note fancy engraving on the rear plate, done in century earlier style. Height 18.2 inches [46cm]
