Condition: the rosewood veneer is still exceptional on this particular clock; the original finish over-coated to fill in some minor blemishes. The dial was professionally repainted in 1977. The inside of the case with the ink stamp impression of John Tanner of California; although it has changed hands since, it was part of his collection at one time. The original gold leaf tablet with some minor re-backing. For reference, see Tran Ly's book on Seth Thomas, 3rd Edition [2004], page 272. With large round movement with front hung pendulum, cut pinions, and venire beat adjustment. Height 44 inches [110cm]
