Condition: this clock is from a private New Hampshire collector and is in excellent restored condition. Big 18" dial is original and fabulous; original Waterbury info in margin below 6; if you view numerals under a glass they are all crazed, just amazing really. The case has been professionally refinished to med-oak color; bottom splat has been carefully copied from an original example, on old, well-grained oak. Movt with Waterbury logo; oak grained iron weights are original. Impressive. We sold the cousin to this clock in May of 2005, lot 405 for $4000 +12% See Ly's book on Waterbury, page 192.
