Condition: the oak case was professionally refinished around 1955 to match some lt-golden oak furniture of the day, and the dial repainted at the same time (well done), and both nicely aged. The movement has been cleaned and re-strung and the clock is in excellent running order. For additional information on this model, see Demeter's book on Chelsea Clocks, page178. This model was made to compete directly with the Howard No. 70, using quality "R" type movement. The price for this clock in 1911 was $18. A very clean example. Height 34 inches [87cm]
