C.1880, French, Hry. Marc, Paris, 3-dial, Perpetual Calendar clock, in a monumental/giant black marble case with brown onyx accents. Condition: overall very good restored condition, the case with a glossy black glaze. The well made open 'scape movement signed with both Hry Marc signature and Marti award medallion, serial No. 54354. Note the arrow tip [about an inch] to the original minute hand is missing; hour hand is fine. The porcelain chapter ring is nice; the dial center is chipped at the time side winding hole. Calendar dial is xlnt, indications in English, and with rolling moon, day, date and month. Aneroid barometer is clean, may need adjusting. Height 20 inches [51cm]
