C.1880, Ithaca Calendar Clock Co., No. 2-1/2 BRISBANE, Walnut cased double dial perpetual calendar, double spring 30 day time. Condition: the paper over heavy zinc dials are original, the time dial painted over in the margins outside the chapter ring; calendar dial with some darkening and paper loss due to age. The case has been nicely refinished, complete and sound. Hands, pendulum and case hardware are original; case hanger re-newed. Small ball on tip of lower left finial is absent; right one complete. Uses Welch 30day double spring time movement with club tooth escapement, signed by maker, plus Mfg for Ithaca..etc. 1997 price guide is $2800. Height 42.5 inches [108cm]
