C.1900, French, Onyx and Ormolu, 4-Glass crystal regulator with multi color cloisonne enamel and portrait pendulum with brilliant surround. Condition: overall very good original condition. There is some minor roughness along the bottom edge of the base onyx. Note the case is complete with every finial and trim ring in place and all of the delicate trim on the urn is still intact. The use of enamel is profuse, note decorations on the )feet, base molding, columns, top molding, finials, urn, dial center and bezel, plus the female figure in the center of the pendulum. The well made gong strike movement with Argent Medallion stamped in, and a banner with "Made in France". There is some wear to the numerals and a chip in the rear beveled glass panel, otherwise excellent. Height 18.6 inches [47cm]
