Condition: the heavy silvered brass dial has some oxidation and paint loss. There is no dome. The clock is well designed in the English manner, the rafter frame held aloft on two brass plinths, and the pillars finely turned with a robust pattern, and the skeleton with a grid in the manner of Smith and Sons. The fancy cast rosette/screws that secure the pillars help to confirm the French origin. The small tic-tac escapement spans only 3 teeth; seems to run fine. Ht of frame = 5.5" [14cm] overall with base = 8.7" [22cm]
