C.1900, English, Single Fusee SKELETON CLOCK, with passing/fall-off bell strike at the hour, less dome. Condition: the movement is basically sound and ticking. The hold-down nuts for keeping the clock attached to the marble base have failed on the right side and will need attention. The gothic inspired frame has three rising spires on each plate and is supported at the base on 4 brass turnings. The scalloped metal dial is painted white with black Roman numerals, and with some touch up. There is a cable running from the spring barrel to the fusee. Height 15.7 inches [40cm]
