Condition: Cast bronze and gilt rococo style case front is in nice condition with most of the gilding intact on the cast flowers and leaves. Original porcelain dial is badly damaged with hairline cracks and loss; will need professional attention. Hands are original. Movement is signed Potonie, Paris, and No. 278, also with fancy engraved pendulum with No. 278. This clock was originally quite expensive, and would have had a dome as well. Height 11.5 inches [29.21 cm]
