Condition: overall very good to excellent original condition. This clock came to us from a home in Southern NH, and has been well cared for its whole life. George Bartholomew retired from the clock business in 1840, and joined the gold rush to California in 1849. He returned to Bristol and manufactured curry combs and hardware with his son Harry. When the factory burned in 1884 he retired, lived to be 93, dying in 1898. Height 34.3 inches [87cm]
