C.1900, Japy Freres, 8-day time/strike, black marble and bronze mantel clock with circular thermometer and barometer. Condition: Black marble case in pretty good condition with some chips on the back edge on each side of the roof and minor chips on the left and right side top edge of the base. Original porcelain dial is perfect and the hands are original. The turned brass dial grommet on the strike side is missing. Aneroid barometer and thermometer are very clean with original hands. Someone in the past has attached a military metal on the base [1st Volunteer Battalion). Classic bronze frieze in the Greek style. Height 13 inches [33.02 cm]
