C.1885, French, Huveault, a' Vineuil, large picture frame clock, unusual hexagon shape, and with 12" [31cm] porcelain dial with individual signet numerals on gilt shields. Condition: there is no evidence this clock ever had glass over the dial, and movement is fairly well protected from dust by the case. The dial itself is in good condition, with only minor hairlines. Hands are original. Has a good rectangular movement with cut pinions and strikes on a gong. Some bits of line inlay on the frame are loose and some small bits missing. Large and imposing. Height 25.5 inches [65cm]
