C.1880, F. Kroeber, NY "Regulator No. 30", walnut wall clock, 8-day time only, with original etched glass.
Anonymous (not verified)
23 October 2024
Condition: at some time the right and left sides of the lower scalloped trim got knocked off. Otherwise this is in excellent original condition. Paper dial has some scratches and abrasion left side. Original cut glass pendulum has lost much of its silvering Best part is the superb frosted glass which matches the special apron under the dial (has New Haven style contour to mask). We corresponded with Kent Kroeber on this clock, and he concluded F.Kroeber bought the clock as a finished item from New Haven and added his indicator and pendulum. His records show that Kroeber did significant business with New Haven at that time. Height 37 inches
