C.1903, (dated) German, Gustav Becker, Ornate Wall clock, oak case with 30 bits of cast brass decorations, and with fancy cast pendulum, serial 1,259,120, presentation piece. Condition: overall very good to excellent restored condition. The molding below the door has a chip colored over that needs attention, other minor nicks and scrapes. Fancy dial has a heavy cast center that matches the heavy cast pendulum bob. The outer dial bezel is cast, not spun. This is certainly the heaviest, most ornate, and highest quality Becker clock we have ever seen. Would have been a special order, and with its original presentation plaque, reading: "A. Olsen, 1878 No. 150; 8 Januar 1903 Fra. Samtlige Arbeidere". Note this is a large clock and the foto does not give a true appreciation of its dimensions [dial bezel is 8.5"] Using a quality cut pinion mov't signed with Becker logo, original to case. Height 53"
