Condition: overall a good example of this makers work. The movement has the long teeth so typical of Willard shop work; compare to the movement in Paul Foley's book, page 58, plus front plate is drilled for through or fillister screws. Retains original delicate barbed hands. Dial has aged and discolored, got wet and some of the paint is loose, however 30% of the original signature is still visible. With an early hand-written history of the clock in the Holden family of Mass and Maine. Throat tablet is restored, bottom tablet is original primitive Mt. Vernon, with edge re-backed, some flaking. Height 40 inches
