Case probably originated in Ohio or western NY State. Condition: the case has been nicely refinished and is with incredibly well figured crotch mahogany; top door re-made to fit the Hoadley dial. Retains old tin can weights that are a bit small for an 8-day. Although we had the clock running several days with these weights, you could contact Don Bruno for the recommended size. Movement and dial are proper Hoadley production; generally his dials were not signed, and the signature may have been added later. Note country scene at top, with Masonic symbols [compass and square] top center. Height 93 inches
