C.1930, Waltham Watch Co., "Waltham Chronometer" model, 8-day back wind with up/down indicator on the dial, mounted in a mahogany case with a black marble top with the company name and "Correct Time" in brass fastened on top. Counter top advertising piece for the retailer. Condition: overall excellent original condition with some minor scratches in original finish, and a scratch along bottom side of base (does not show in foto). Silvered dial is very clean with a couple of minor blemishes. Hands are original. We have had one or 2 of these before, but this is the nicest one I have ever seen. Clean and running.
