C.1890, French, "Davy Lamp",, from the industrial series, clock case in the form of a lantern, with 3 sides, with a barometer in one, thermometer in the second and timepiece in the third, compass at top. Condition: as-found, sound but needed a cleaning. The case retains its original oxidized bronze finish, the movement is sound and platform and balance staff are good, but need cleaning. Dial has not been touched and has significant tarnish and will need re-silvering. Hands are original. Needs 2 small screws to hold the mov't bezel in place, has nails at this time.
