Condition: Mahogany and gilt case in pretty good condition with the wear to much of the gilding and now over painted with gold paint. Hull glasses are very old and seem to be original. Original painted iron dial has some paint loss and a poor repair at six o'clock, signature with scratches to simulate age. Hand cut hands show a lot of age, but are probably replacements. Cast brass eagle is period and perhaps original. Still an attractive gold front banjo. Ht. 30.75"
