C.1925, E. Howard and Co., Boston, Electric Master Clock, now less program switch, clock relay and bell relay [filled holes in rear]. With original EHCCo schematic for New Central School, So. Berwick, Maine, and with Blackwell made 3-jar pendulum with invar rod. Condition: the cherry case retains original finish inside and out. Left side has had a mahogany access door added for servicing the bell tape that is now installed (does not show on the schematic). Left door does not have a latch and is a bit crude (see plane marks in image). This clock hung at the foot of Dana's basement stairs for many years (see detail foto) Note this lot includes the 3-jar Howard pendulum, but NOT the special Alvin Lawrence pendulum visible at right in detail foto --- that is lot No. 377..
