in inked mahogany veneered case in imitation of rosewood with original gilt and black tablets, painted dial with Roman numerals on chapter ring, ticks on outer ring with bold every 5 minutes, 8-day brass weight drive time-only movement with partial printed paper label in bottom of case reading ----/Clock Materials,/Opposite the Boston and ---- Main Rail Road Depot,/-----e. Boston./--- 101 Union S----- and 172 Blackstone Street./Particular Attention Paid To Clock Repairing, original pendulum and cast iron weight, 12" X 3.75" x 28.5" high. Includes working key. Condition report Slight loss to gilt of tablets, retouch on dial, ca 8% or less, plug at top from removed finial, not original, old likely original finish, cleaned.
