printed paper over tin dial with painted tin surround, Roman on chapter ring, outer minute ring marked with ticks, every 5 minutes bold, lower calendar dial with crescent cut-out above center marked H.B. Horton's/Patents./April 18, 1865, and August 28, 1866./Ithaca Calendar Clock Co./Ithaca, N.Y. and Arabic on chapter ring, with 2 revolving drum dials at 3 and 9 o'clock, left with days and right with months, brass 8-day time, strike and date spring driven movement stamped E.N. Welsh/Forestville, Ct./U.S.A./Pat'd/Aug. 30 1870, stamped brass bezels, walnut case with walnut door for access to pendulum with cotterpin hinges, arch top with broken arch crest with central turned finial, stepped out base, original varnish finish, traces of old printed paper label on reverse, 4.5" x 12" x 25.5" high. Condition report Some wear to time dial, calendar dial toned as are drums, slight chip on door for pendulum, currently running. We do not guarantee working order of clocks.
