printed paper over tin dial with stamped brass surround, Roman on chapter ring, outer minute ring marked with ticks, every 5 minutes bold, 8-day brass time and strike spring driven movement stamped 1907/Wm. Gilbert Clock Co./Windsted, Conn./U.S.A./CD with G inside a diamond, tablet in lower door with Standard/Time, pressed oak case with octagonal top door with egg and dart decoration, drop with pointed end and door with matching molding to top, all in original varnish finish, traces of old label on back with original cast brass pendulum, 4.5" x 18" x 27.5" high.
