polychrome-painted wood dial, with Arabic on chapter ring, minute ticks on outer ring with every 5 minutes bold, spandrels with gilt scroll work, center with branching flowers with gilt flower garter surround, 30-hour wood and brass weight driven time and strike five-wheeled train movement, patented in 1823, replaced hand-painted tablet with large Italianate buildings with stenciled silvered and bronzed rose surround, wonderfully complete printed paper label on interior with Patented Clocks/Invented By/Eli Terry/Made And Sold At Plymouth, Connecticut/E. Terry & Sons/Warranted If Well Used/..., mahogany case with plinths capped with reproduction brass urn finials, original tin can caps for pulleys, goose neck scrolled crest, full tapered turned columns, scrolled feet, a classic pillar and scroll; 4.5" x 17.25" x 30.75" high.
