circa 1940-1942, eight-day time and ship's bells, in cast brass case with screw bezel, black enamel 12-hour dial, luminous Arabic numerals with seconds increments, white "moon" hands, fast-slow regulator at 12 o'clock. Engraved on dial U.S. COAST GUARD / SER. NO. 1101 1942 and Chelsea / Ship's Bell at 6 o'clock. Chelsea serial number 314,197 (1940-1944) engraved on back of flange. Dial measures 5.5" diameter; bezel is 7.25" diameter; flange 7.5" diameter and case 3.5" deep. Condition report Currently running. Normal oxidation and patina and few tiny nicks to outside edge of bezel. We do not guarantee working order of clocks and watches.
