19th century, with pine secondary wood. The hood has broken-arch pediment, pagoda finial, tombstone door, and turned and reeded columns. The waist has a gothic door and turned and reeded columns. The base has flaring feet. The brass movement is signed Geoe Whiston Stafford and has a polychrome-painted dial with a calendar depicting a ship. Retains weights and pendulum and is in an old, rich finish; 97" high x 24.5" wide x 9.75" deep. Condition report Dial paint restored in 1962, minor losses; we do not guarantee the working order of clocks.
