ca 1907-1930. A small, brass eight-day marine chronometer made by Waltham, Serial No. 30474333, brass in a gimbaled mahogany case. Screw bezel, stem-winding mechanism, black enamel Arabic numerals, blued hands, 8-day wind indicator at 3 o'clock, and seconds bit at 6 o'clock. The movement has 15 jewels and is adjusted for six positions and temperature; chronometer dial is 3" diameter, and the double-lidded square mahogany case is 6" x 6" x 6". Condition report Minor usage scratches and old patina to brass, and light wear to mahogany case. Currently running, however, we do not guarantee working order of clocks and watches.
