with poplar secondary wood and light and dark wood (possibly ebony) inlays. Broken scroll pediment with pierced fretwork, 4 fully turned columns, and dentilated molding. Tombstone door is trimmed with string inlay light and dark wood banding, and retains its original glass and key. Waist is cove-molded at the top and bottom, has canted corners with string inlay imitating reeding, and inlaid waves inside bands of light and dark wood. Crotch mahogany door has a cut-corner top and string inlay. Plinth has a crotch mahogany panel, string inlay, a scroll-cut skirt, and sits upon straight bracket feet. The movement is an English, brass, time and strike movement with a floral and scroll-painted dial. With old, probably original, weights, pendulum, and key.
