8-day time and strike, spring-driven, German brass movement with 4.6" disc-type Swiss music box mounted below. Cello-faced dial with Arabic numerals. Ornately carved and turned bracket-type walnut case with double basket-type top, shell carving at front, 4 turned finials. Door turned and fluted half columns resting on diamond fronted plinths with half turned balustrade between, cove-molded base and bun feet. Original untouched finish, could find no maker's mark. 11.15" wide x 6.7" deep x 18.5" high.Ex Paul A.
