wooden and brass five-wheeled train movement, patented in 1823, painted wooden dial, Roman numerals and gilt scrollwork spandrels. Mahogany case, wonderfully complete printed paper label; original tinned iron plate on back, replaced tablet has oval ring of roses on white ground, gilt center surrounding clear, rayed gilt corners; a classic pillar and scroll. 16.5" wide x 5.5" deep x 32" high.Ex Paul A. Heffner Collection.As above, refinished and replacement brass finials, feet & scroll pediment replaced, VG.
