30-hour time and strike, weight-driven, strap brass handmade movement, stamped J. & A. Im___y. Painted wooden dial, unusual cutout center reveals escapement, and Roman numerals. Mahogany case with 4 full turned columns at sides, plinth-type base with ogee front panel, stepped top, also with ogee panel in front. Dial tablet has open/clear circular center to reveal dial with blue outline and gilt geometric motifs in corners; lower tablet with clear oval and polychrome flower spray on interior, gilt surround and blue ground. Untouched original finish and paper label. 16.5" wide x 5.25" deep x 27" high.Ex Paul A. Heffner Collection.Some minor veneer loss and some paint has lifted on tablets, VG+.
