with a broken-arch pediment, ebonized scrolls, lattice work in the tympanum, scroll-cut sidelights, and a tombstone door with an ivory-inlaid escutcheon. ELLIOT, LTD. / CROYDON, / LONDON and plays 4 tunes: "Fight the Good Fight," "Be Thou My Guardian," "Land of Hope and Glory," and "The Holy City." On the inside of the door is a presentation plaque indicating that the clock was a retirement gift to Summers Hunter, Esquire from the North Eastern Marine Company, Ltd. of Wallsend-on-Tyne and Sunderland in 1929.
