English Mahogany Tall Case Clock, with broken arch bonnet with turned rosettes, hinged tombstone-topped door flanked by tapered turned full columns, waist with turned half columns, bow front door with cock beaded edging, inset lock with key, onion dome applied half-moulding above door with ogee board at bottom of waist. Base with sunken panel front, solid ends with scallop-cut skirt. Polychrome painted iron dial with shield crest of Kent above, floral spandrels, sweep second and calendar dials with Arabic numerals, chapter ring with Roman numerals. Replaced German 8-day bell strike brass movement with weights, pendulum and key. This clock also includes an older set of English brass 8-day bell strike movement with second and calendar with weights pendulum and key, total height 85.25".
