Has a robust and well made movement with dead beat escapement and maintaining power, and screwed collets to the rear, in a plain ebonized case with some later embossed trim in the dial surround. The brass bob has some dents and creases, and may be a replacement. The bottom of the case has had the weight through it and been repaired. Idler assembly in top of case is intact. A similar American clock would sell for much more. Height 54 inches
