Caldwell, Philadelphia, mini tall case of wood, decorated in the style of Vernis Martin, and profusely accented with bronze trimmings at all corners, and with 4 hairy paw feet. The front of the dark green case has a painting of a young lady with large hat, and the sides are painted with flowers. Condition: overall very good original condition, with perfect dial, only minor losses to paint, the bronze with some oxidation. The well made rack strike mov't by S. Marti, and with a sailing ship trade-mark bearing "JLF" on the sails. Height 21.25 inches
