Condition: the top glass has been replaced, lower tablet is original with some paint loss. (3 sides of bottom putty re-newed). The signature is mostly rubbed off the dial, but clearly visible under strong light at an angle. This is a Boston dial, well painted. This is a rare example with brass inlay into the door. For additional information, see Nawcc Bulletin supplement 313; the case make for this style was believed to be Alfred Platt, but he has been more recently identified as Charles Platt [Chris Bailey and Snowden Taylor can give you details]. An uncommon model. Height 29 inches
