Condition: overall very good+ condition. Some of the gilding is original, and some was re-done maybe a century ago, based on the dirt; we rubbed a bit with wax and there is crazing through the gold. The dial was re-painted artistically maybe before 1900, and with wear in the "Strike-Silent" dial, and lower left corner. The well made movement has large baluster pillars and the back plate /cocks /pendulum are nicely engraved, a detailed flower basket in the center of the rear plate, with drapes above and geometric patterns for border. No name. Does tick and strike, but would benefit from cleaning. This clock graced the Hoch living room. Height 23.5 inches
