C.1810, English, Mahogany cased tavern clock, 2-weight 8-day, with unusual movement, geared so the great barrels turn once per day rather than twice. Condition: the wooden dial retains original finish, with numerals restored and with more wear. Has a wonderful cast and turned key lock bezel plus key lock door, both keys intact. Special wide weights are used to provide a weeks running with a short drop. Pendulum is still a meter pendulum. Dial diameter = 16" ht = 47"
